At your request, we offer crates built to the museum standard.

Crate is constructed out of 2cm plywood
Reinforcing and riding battens are 2.5cm thick and 10cm wide
Battens are screwed and glued to the crate exterior using acid free glue
Crate exterior can be painted with waterproof paint
Joints are sealed with acid free glue
High quality stable materials are used in all metal hardware
Air tight rubber gasket strip is placed around the edges of the crate lid
Lid is screwed onto the crate by bolts and threaded metal inserts
Crate interior is lined with waterproof polyethylene film
3 layers of polyurethane / polyethylene foam of various densities
Works of art is first protected with archival grade acid free tissue
